We are PerformNYC

Our mission is to promote the merging of technology and the performing arts. We hope to use the performing arts as a platform to expose and engage performers to visual arts technology. We want to break the mindset that creativity or technology is mutually exclusive.

"The future of technology only lies beyond our imaginations" - PerformNYC CEO

Our Services

Technology Programs

We host hackathons and provide coding classes in web design and app development to help engage dancers who may not have had any experience in these fields

Performances

We offer a wide variety of Dance classes for technologists to bridge these two sectors. We host performances at local community centers to showcase the dances created by participants in our programs.

Networking Opportunities

Participants in our program will be given the opportunity to take tours of performances agencies, theaters and major tech companies and meet with employees and CEO of these major corporations. We have taken participants to companies like Google and Squarespace.
